  • Congratulations Vinny!

Time flies!  Its already been 100 days since Vinny was born.  On Sunday we celebrated with a little Korean-Chinese dinner with family.

He's growing up so fast!  His neck is strong now and he can hold up his head.  He babbles, smiles and giggles.  He bounces around in his Jumperoo and struts his stuff on the Step & Play Piano.  Today, during belly time, he lifted his head and chest off the floor with his arms!  He still spits up like a mad man, but I think he's what they call a "happy spitter."  He makes a big mess but he's still a lovable little cutie-pie.

  • Martha Stewart's mom passed away this weekend.  From what I've seen on TV and read in her magazines, they had a fairly close relationship and Martha owes a lot of her success to her mother.  Now anyone who knows me well knows that I revere the almighty domestic guru... so they should also know that I don't mean any disrespect from the following comment.  Here goes...  I wonder if Martha would ever consider doing a special episode on planning the perfect funeral.  It would be nice to know how to do one well out of respect for the loved ones you may have to plan one for.  Sorry for the morbid post.

  • Vinny-pie or Vinny-poo, depending...

Danny and I placed some more pics up on our Flickr account (www.flickr.com/photos/parkpics).  Most of the updates are of Vinny.  Some of the updated pics are random stuff from our pre-Vinny trips to Hawaii and San Diego.

Vinny is the cutest thing in the world (at least according to his mommy and daddy) and I'm getting really sad at the prospect of going back to work in the new year.  The first two months were pretty tough and I relished the thought of going back to work because life would have been so much easier!  But now Vinny smiles, coos and laughs/squeals with delight when I talk and sing to him and he's just become more fun, independent, and interactive.  How am I gonna leave this darling boy for the drudgery of work?
