My friend's baby is 9 months old and she can mimic a couple of basic actions. Her mom told me that when her baby was 3 months old, she would stick out her tongue and her baby would follow. I was like wth? Vinny's almost 6 months old and I haven't seen such behavior from him. So I set my mind on teaching him how to stick out his tongue and in under 3 days he did it! Now he sticks out his tongue all the time. It's cute now but I hope I didn't teach him something that I'll regret later. Now on to other tricks....

you're such a goofball mommy.
im telling you, you gotta teach vinny "bang bang" and "peeeewwww" keke
HAHAHA hilarious!!! more baby tricks please!!!
some of the ones that people teach to babies in mimicry experiments are: mouth opening, pouting, sequential finger movements, head turning, patting (head or in front of them), and of course tongue protrusion which vinny is already an expert in. in one japanese study, they got the kid to raise her arms and say, "bansai!"
there's a theory out there that the best way to help vinny imitate you... is to imitate him often. he'll get a kick outta that.
