I'm alive!
The oral surgeon took less than 2 minutes to extract my tooth. It was so fricken fast I was amazed. Just some tugging and pulling and I was done. The local anesthetic was the worst part for sure. As I type, the bleeding seems to have stopped and I'm sippin on some juice so I can take the prescribed pain meds... the good stuff.
Honestly, I knew I'd be okay when the oral surgeon introduced himself and asked me when I had my other 2 wisdom teeth out. I said some dude in K-town did it a while back and he replied, "Bastard." When he said that, I thought to myself, "Self, this dude uses your favorite catch phrase. You're gonna be just fine."

I hate going to the dentist.
I just came back from the dentist again. They replaced my fillings and stuff. I thought it would be a breeze but it was a lot harder than I expected. 2 visits down, 2 more to go. On Tuesday, I'm getting my last wisdom tooth extracted... not pulled, extracted. Next month I have to get a cleaning. I hate the dentist. I hate the dentist. I hate the dentist. The only upside is, I'm taking Tuesday and Wednesday off to recover from the inevitable face disfigurement caused by the extraction. It's gonna be ugly.
